Having spent over 25 years in a male-dominated industry and having built a reputation as a knowledgeable professional with insight and experience, Anne Ficeli, President of PURE Real Estate Management, says she understands the challenges many women face. in the real estate industry.
To that end, she and a small group of women founded the West Michigan chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women, known as CREW, a network for information sharing, lifelong learning and career advancement. “I am determined to support other women in all professions, but especially those in commercial real estate,” says Ficeli.
“Through my efforts and CREW, I try to make it a little easier for them than it was for me.”
Ficeli says she learned to see the value of a property through the eyes of an owner early in her career while working directly with owners. “For me, this was the first step in turning a property into a community and understanding what makes it valuable beyond its financial value,” said Ficeli. “This philosophy and commitment to service has been essential in managing a portfolio of over $ 375 million with an occupancy rate of 95-100%.
In addition to being a women’s advocate, Ficeli is a member of the board of directors of the Humane Society of West Michigan and is a yoga lover. She co-founded her property management company in 2018 with major partners Michael Maier and Ryan Wheeler.
