Whether you’re a top grower or just got your real estate license, growing your business is key to your career. Every industry has its cycles. Real estate agents and brokers know this all too well. Unfortunately, the Great Recession started with the bursting of the mortgage bubble and now we are seeing huge increases in house prices nationwide.
Successful real estate agents understand that continuing education is what separates them from the rest, and that it’s not just about taking courses to earn CE credits. Another important thing to do is attend webinars and seminars on a wide range of real estate topics to keep up to date with industry best practices. Next week, such an in-person event will take place at the Vero Beach Chamber of Commerce on April 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The event, Key Steps on How to Set Yourself in this Real Estate Market, will cover several topics. Participants will learn tips on starting a business, the ins and outs of contracts – the do’s and don’ts, and compliance. There will be something for real estate agents and brokers at all levels, whether you have just received your license (or are currently studying), are in the middle of your career or are a top producer.

Sallie also presented financial and tax analysis to Congress regarding proposed legislation affecting multifamily housing.
