New England Real Estate Company Welcomes Back Sandy Cox as Designated Broker for Maine

The New England Real Estate Company said Nov. 4 that Sandy Cox of Camden is its newest member of its management team and designated broker for the state of Maine.

A longtime resident of Camden, Cox was previously an executive at MBNA before entering the real estate profession in 2003 with Greene Keefe Real Estate. He then became a broker at Jaret & Cohn Real Estate and opened Windjammer Realty in 2005, achieving the #1 position in the Midcoast for residential units sold in 2005. He still holds the honor of that position.

Cox was previously with The New England Real Estate Company from 2013 to 2018 and most recently with the Masiello Group management team with Better Homes and Gardens in Rockland.

Cox served on the Camden Zoning Board of Appeals for eight years and for five years was Director of the Camden Area YMCA. He also served as President of Rockland Golf Club for six years as an active member of the Board of Directors.

He was also Past President of the West Bay Rotary Club of Camden; former director of the Pen Bay Chamber of Commerce and former treasurer and former chairman of the Midcoast Board of Realtors.

In February 2016, Cox was honored and named “Community Person of the Year” by fellow community members from the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce. Cox lives in Camden with his wife, Michelle.
