DAR Development Inc., a regional commercial real estate brokerage, was recently renamed DAR Commercial Real Estate.
The name change is intended to reflect the company’s commitment to the commercial real estate brokerage industry and to communicate more clearly the services offered by the firm.
“Commercial real estate is an ever-changing and constantly evolving industry, and the new name allows us to better focus on our core purpose by creating a brand image that makes it clear who we are and what we do.” said Dave Denton, vice president of real estate. brokerage at DAR Commercial Real Estate.
“The use of the term ‘development’ in our name has created a misperception in the market that we are working exclusively on development or just on our own buildings or projects. This is simply not the case.
Founded by Darrel Herweyer in 1996, DAR Commercial Real Estate has served the commercial real estate needs of Western Michigan for nearly 25 years.
“We are a truly independent, full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm,” said Herweyer. “We are particularly focused on buying, selling or renting all types of commercial properties for our clients. “
As the name of the organization changes, the team and services will remain cohesive. The team will continue to provide the full range of brokerage services.
