YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Debbie Skaggs has worked with real estate agents as a trusted partner to transform homes for others to enjoy. Now she has decided not only to flip a house, but also to sell them. So she found her own home and reversed her career as a new member of the Burgan Real Estate team.
“Being able to see a home’s potential for sellers and buyers is a special trait,” says Patrick Burgan, co-owner and broker of Burgan Real Estate. “Debbie has been a trusted partner in seeing, repairing and selling homes in need of maintenance. Her special ability to see a home’s potential for buyers and sellers is what makes her unique and a great addition to our Burgan Bunch.
Skaggs, originally from New Springfield, graduated from New Springfield High School. She attended Kent State University and began her career in the medical field as a nurse’s aide and as a dietician.
While she says her new career at Burgan Real Estate is exciting, her career as a mother and grandmother is second to none. Along with her four children and six grandchildren, Skaggs has four dogs that she takes care of.
When not working turning homes and taking care of her family and dogs, she is an active craftswoman, especially in crochet and painting. She is also an amateur pool player who has competed in state and national tournaments.
