WPM Real Estate Management has appointed William Scott Severn as Business Development Coordinator for the company. In this role, Severn will support the company’s continued growth and reach in the community with a focus on expanding the breadth of the company’s portfolio across all lines of business.

Severn joined WPM in 2015 as a lettings specialist and has had several promotions since then, most recently to property manager. Prior to joining WPM, Severn served in the United States Marine Corps as a Data Network Specialist with Top Secret clearance. While in the Marine Corps, Severn created and maintained the SIPR and NIPR networks during combat operations in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province and provided day-to-day service and support for Operation Enduring Freedom. He attributes his discipline and teamwork-oriented approach to his years in the Marine Corps.

Severn holds the National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) and Certified Property Manager (CPM) candidate designations and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the National Apartment Association (NAA). He is an active member of WPM’s Community Impact and Marketing and Education Committees. A native of Maryland and a graduate of Community College in Baltimore County, Severn has lived in California, North Carolina, South Carolina and Afghanistan. He currently resides in Carney, MD.
